They have limited resources to afford custom concierge services to make their life cozy & convenient. The retarding growth of concierge is equally contributing to the economic slump. Again, the concept of productivity over powers the discussion. The very existence of concierge is to increase the productivity of an individual. From fixing appointment, travel & event planning to basic errands, concierge takes care of a person to help him focus on core business areas. The high-priced cost of living has forced them to cut-down their expenses on business concierge, which has resulted in a chaos. Doing everything of your own is not that easy as it is to phrase.

In the latest strategies to overcome recession, there was an emphasis to bridge the skill gap through appropriate training. Now, if professionals would be busier in running their personal errands, how would they be able to focus on their job area? Custom concierge services may look as an extra expenditure, but it also carries heavy opportunity cost, i.e. time. US government can overcome the crisis provided it sketches a good strategy. It should see business concierge services as an investment to lift all other industries. The govt. should invest & provide free services to key professionals to bring a change in the present state of affairs. Concierge is the silver line along black clouds, which should not be overlooked. A boost to custom concierge will help US to recoup its financial stability.
