A concierge is someone who helps an individual or a company to operate their day to day tasks easily. This can include anything from fixing meetings, taking care of the household, grocery shopping, pet walking and so on. But a residential concierge is someone who helps tenants or owners living in a property such as commercial societies, condos complex or apartments. They act more like a personal concierge and provide services as of a hotel. Following are some of the important tasks of a residential concierge –


 
It is the duty of a concierge to handle and take care of daily requests of the residents in the community. They can do it over the phone, semail or in person. No matter what residents ask for, it is their duty to fulfil demands of the residents.

It is the sole responsibility of a residential concierge to handle all the property matters such as managing parking, controlling security, handyman services and so on. It is their responsibility to show property to potential clients and welcome them with a warm and homelike environment.

In many ways, a concierge is the face of the community or household. They act as a catalyst between the owner, residents and the prospective residents. It is their responsibility to meet and greet people and tell them about their community. A concierge is responsible for the positive marketing of a community.

Along with the above mentioned duties, the overnight duties of a concierge include providing exceptional customer service to the residents. They must deliver the best customer service possible. There are some other luxury services that a concierge needs to do for the residents such as getting tickets for sport events, theatre, and movies and so on. A lot of these services might require networking with outside vendors to deliver the services.
